For you to appreciate to the fullest your new 100% Linen Dishcloth, you will have to wash them a couple times to soften the fibers. It will become even more absorbent as it gets older and softer. Ideally, wash in cold or lukewarm water without fabric softener (which could block the fibers from absorbing and creates "greasy streaks" on dishes in the long run) and do not put in the dryer.
